Media Accreditation Instructions
Instructions for Registering for a Media Badge
  • You must be a member of an established local, national or international media organization with relevant identification; or a freelancer holding a letter of assignment on the official letterhead of a media organization signed by the publisher, assignment editor or bureau chief. The letter must specify your name and title, and the period for which accreditation is being sought.
  • If you hold a CADSI account, you must log in to your account on the next screen (CADSI LOGIN) and follow the instructions.
  • If you do not already hold a CADSI account, you must create one by clicking the Register Here link on the next screen (CADSI LOGIN) and following the instructions.
  • Once your application is complete, a notification will be sent to CADSI.  We will process your application and send you an email to notify you of your status. CANSEC is a private event, and CADSI reserves the right to deny accreditation.  If approved, the email will include your registration confirmation which you must bring with you to the registration tent upon arrival.
  • By completing the registration process, you are acknowledging that 1) your name and 2) your email address may be shared with CANSEC exhibitors who request a list of registered media.  Exhibitors are granted access to this list SOLELY for the purposes of media releases linked to CANSEC and must agree not to use the list for ongoing marketing and communications after the show.  If you would prefer to have your contact information excluded, please contact [email protected]

Our goal is to ensure a professional environment for media, exhibitors, trade show attendees and event staff. We request that all media complete the registration process in advance of the tradeshow to ensure that individuals seeking a media pass are working journalists or technical support staff representing recognized media organizations.

CADSI welcomes the use of photography and video throughout CANSEC 2025. However, we remind all media that due to the sensitive and competitive nature of the industry, not all participants will welcome having their faces or products recorded or photographed. It is CADSI's policy that, prior to recording or photographing a person or product, media should ensure they have consent from the person or persons responsible.
