OVA Brings Spatial AI to CANSEC to Turn DND Modernization Plans Into Action
Ottawa, ON, May 2026 — OVA, Canadian leader in XR technologies, will be attending CANSEC 2026 to demonstrate how its AI-enabled immersive technology can help DND attain its readiness and modernization goals.
Once again this year, OVA will offer stakeholders an experiential environment rather than a static display. Located at Booth #2019, the Modern Immersive Training & Operations Pavilion will have experts on-site and feature multiple live demos powered by StellarX, OVA’s no-code XR platform.
With defence organizations under pressure to scale readiness while reducing training time, costs, and resources, the need for smarter solutions has never been clearer. OVA’s technology is a force multiplier that supports critical training and operations, facilitates mission rehearsal, improves performance, and strengthens resilience across the force.
In the past years, OVA has been leading change in helping Canadian defence reach its targets. They have been significantly advancing AI capabilities, from NeRF-based environment creation to truly adaptive and responsive AI Agents. Security features such as organizational permissions, on-premise deployment options, and fully Canadian Cloud hosting support a sovereign, secure, and future-ready approach to immersive simulation.
OVA’s technology is already actively tested and used by multiple defence organizations. Recently, OVA has entered contracts with the CFSATE, CANSOFCOM, MILPERSCOM and the RCEME. OVA’s procurement-ready solutions make it easy for DND to skip lengthy tendering and leverage advanced technology today.
“What we have built at OVA is a break from the legacy model. Static presentations, outdated e-learning, disconnected planning tools, and manpower-heavy training pipelines are replaced by a software-first, AI-enabled platform built for operational readiness. This is not a future nice-to-have; it is a requirement”, says Harold Dumur, Founder and CEO of OVA.
Head to Booth #2019 to meet with OVA’s technical and creative teams, and gain key insight on how OVA works directly with clients to build sovereign, secure, and AI-enabled immersive ecosystems that are tailored to Canadian defence requirements.
