OVA to Showcase Advanced AI-Enabled XR Training at its Modern Training Pavilion, CANSEC 2025
Ottawa, ON – May 2025 — OVA, a leader in AI-enabled immersive training technologies, will return to CANSEC this year with an expanded presence and a mission to demonstrate how flexible defence training is no longer a future vision but an already available solution.
Located at Booth #2025, OVA will debut The Modern Training Pavilion, an experiential space designed to give military and defence stakeholders a firsthand look at OVA’s technology and services, including its no-code XR platform, StellarX, which is transforming operational training across air, land, and sea domains.
Visitors will be able to interact with AI-enabled agents designed for instruction, try mission-specific Virtual Reality training scenarios, learn how OVA's training solutions compare to traditional methods, and explore how today’s units can deploy scalable, device-agnostic training environments with immediate impact.
“What we’re showcasing at CANSEC is already helping modernize how Canadian defence units train,” said Harold Dumur, Founder and CEO of OVA. “Our goal is to make immersive, intelligent training tools accessible, flexible, and ready for deployment.”
This showcase comes at a time when defence organizations are urgently seeking innovative and cost-effective ways to increase preparedness, reduce training time, and retain critical knowledge. OVA’s technology is approved through Canada's Pathway to Commercialization, enabling direct acquisition by federal departments—no tender required.
OVA delivers trusted immersive training solutions to Canada’s leading defence and aerospace institutions, including the Canadian Space Agency, Royal Canadian Navy, and Royal Canadian Air Force.
To book a private meeting at CANSEC, please reach out to Simon Drouin St-Pierre at [email protected] , Alexander Landry at [email protected] , or meet with representatives at Booth #2025 during the show.
