PSPC Engagement and Consultation Sessions on Ethical Procurement (French Session)

Event Description

Invitation to PSPC Engagement and Consultation Sessions on Ethical Procurement

Businesses, procurement professionals and stakeholders are invited to learn about Public Services and Procurement Canada’s (PSPC) ethical procurement activities and new guidance materials on identifying and mitigating the risks of human trafficking and forced labour.

At this event, they will also have an opportunity to inform federal ethical procurement practices by providing feedback on the Department’s draft Policy on Ethical Procurement. This Policy supports PSPC’s commitment to preventing human rights abuses in supply chains and to ensure the highest sustainability and ethical standards are applied in the procurement of goods and services.

This event is a continuation of PSPC’s early 2023 engagement sessions on the risks of human trafficking, forced labour, and child labour in supply chains. In these sessions, we committed to continued dialogue and ongoing stakeholder engagement as part of the policy and program development process. You can read the results of the 2023 engagement sessions in the Executive Summary published online.

Please visit the pages below to register for the event, and email TPSGC.PAAchatseEthiques-APEthicalProcurement.PWGSC@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca for a copy of the draft policy to read before the session. You will have the opportunity to share your feedback during the event and in a questionnaire distributed to attendees following the session.
