PSPC Ethical Procurement Engagement Session 2

Event Description

As the central purchasing entity for the Government of Canada, Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) plays a key role in preventing the use of human trafficking, forced labour, and child labour in the production of federally procured goods. PSPC understands that to achieve this goal, we must work in close collaboration with our suppliers.

Earlier this fall, suppliers were invited to share their insights on human trafficking, forced labour, and child labour in federal supply chains through an online questionnaire.

Based on the information gathered from this questionnaire, PSPC developed ethical procurement engagement sessions for suppliers to discuss challenges and opportunities in combatting human trafficking, forced labour, and child labour in federal supply chains.
